Mind one of the wellness essentials : take time to relax and renew deeply on a regular basis.   

Taking time out each day to relax and renew is essential to living well in our fast-paced world. One great way to do this is restorative yoga. When practiced regularly, it will help you to avoid the effects of chronic stress.  As little as five minutes a day can be very effective.

Learn to unwind and look inside. Become aware of the effects of stress on the body, mind and emotions. Learn to deal with stress in a better way. Pause so that you can respond rather than merely react. ‘Be’ rather than just ‘do’. This is exactly what restorative yoga can help us with.

As restorative yoga uses many props such as bolsters and blankets, you are able to

  • feel weightless
  • experience ease in your joints
  • and hold poses for 2 – 15 minutes without pain or strain.
